Award-winning designer and creative director, Taya Hughes, has joined forces with the Unity in Design Global Network (UDGN) to bring a new wave of emerging talent to the Seven Streets online store this August.
Founded by Taya Hughes in Liverpool, Seven Streets is known for its tightly curated selection of cutting-edge fashion and its commitment to championing new voices. The partnership with UDGN, a newly launched platform supporting underrepresented designers from across the diaspora, marks a bold move towards greater inclusivity in luxury retail.
Select designers from UDGN’s 2025 incubator, Cultural Threads, will be featured in a special online showcase, hosted exclusively on Seven Streets digital platform. Each designer brings a culturally rooted, future-forward approach to fashion, making them a natural fit for the Seven Streets aesthetic.
“When I came across UDGN and the work Tare (fashion consultant and designer Tare Isaac) was doing, I knew immediately I wanted to support it,” says Hughes. “There’s so much raw talent in this space and Seven Streets has always been about giving those voices a platform.”
