It was a busy day for Liverpool’s players yesterday as the final international break of the season came to a close.
As many as 13 of Jurgen Klopp’s first-team were set to be involved in matches all over the world. In the end, 12 of them featured.
There was plenty to shout about, too. Both Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai got on the scoresheet, while Harvey Elliott was once again in fine form for England U21s.
But the night clearly belonged to young Conor Bradley. Facing up against Andy Robertson and Scotland, Bradley had a belting evening. The 20-year-old bagged the only goal of the game, his first in 14 caps for Northern Ireland.

Conor Bradley scores first international goal
Having been ‘outstanding’ in the words of Alan Shearer recently, it was only a matter of time before this moment came for Bradley.
And just like his first Liverpool goal – scored wonderfully against Chelsea in January – this one was a banger.
After winning the ball back with a high press right near the Scotland touchline, Bradley cut inside into the penalty area. Seeing things open up for him, Conor curled an effort in, with plenty of bodies between he and the goal. It took a little nick on it’s way through, but it ended up right in the top corner.
Clearly delighted, Bradley took to Instagram after the game to continue the party.
