U.S. Embassy Maseru seeks a qualified individual for the position of MCC Development Specialist.
BASIC FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:
The Development Specialist serves as the LE Staff project implementation expert in Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Maseru. Under the supervision of the Resident Country Director (RCD), develops and manages a wide range of project activities, policy positions, budget oversight, and other issues related to the programs under the Compact agreement between Lesotho and the US. The incumbent is responsible for creating effective working relationship with MCC Washington, government and private officials and key stakeholders in Maseru (most critically the Millennium Challenge Account), and the donor community.
Starting salary: M482,244.00pa plus diplomatic holidays and other benefits.
