Like father, like son

The story of a mischievous kid was told to me many years ago. It was relevant then as it remains relevant to this day. A young boy, called Thabo, used to be troublesome at school and was in the habit of shouting and swearing at everyone from fellow pupils to the headmaster. One day the headmaster decided to bring the little rascal to book by taking him home. Upon arrival, the headmaster realised that the gate was both huge and not so near to the houses, so he decided to beat the gate with his huge walking stick shouting, ‘Anybody home?’ After some ten or so minutes, an old man swearing vulgarities came out with all his guns blazing. His last statement was, “Who are you, idiot? I may be old but I am not deaf. Stop breaking my gate, your entire generation cannot afford it, bloody loser.” Upon opening the gate and noticing the headmaster, the old man was remorseful and offered a million apologies. The headmaster politely accepted the apologies and told the Oldman that he had brought Thabo from school and went his way. The apple truly does not fall far away from the tree.

The source determines your strength

The strength of a product is closely determined by the source that produced it or is allied to it. Even nature bears witness to this, a strong root will produce a strong tree. A strong person usually produces strong people whose DNA clearly shows an alignment with its source. Never underestimate the source of a commodity, product, or person it will ultimately show you the power that backs them up. When you look at the creation process, you can easily allocate sources of things and even people. God describes the birds as the birds of the air. That implies that the source of their power is the air. If you trap a bird and put it on the ground it becomes weak, poor, and vulnerable. It clearly understands its source which is why it takes the battle to the sky whenever it faces a snake. It knows that dominion is intertwined with your source of power. The bird is majestic in the air, but it is poor on the ground because we are all strong when we are connected to our source. Consider the fish, it is quicksilver in the water majestic in swimming, and a joy to behold when it is swimming. Do you ever stop to think why it is that powerful in water? It is because it will be in its element. When you walk in your element even a bulldozer will not stop you. However, if you withdraw the fish from the sea and leave it on the ground, in one hour it dehydrates to death.

You are unlimited

There are certain cars you will never see being advertised such as the Rolls-Royce. For you to buy it, you need someone connected to that network to go and introduce you to the supply source of the car. If only human beings could grasp this principle of being as strong and credible as your source, none of us would wallow in poverty and lack. When God created you, He linked you to a source. He linked you to the biggest source humanity will ever know. He linked you to Himself. That is why He had to announce after the Godhead had a board meeting. He said let us make man in our image. That settles it for me. The man was made from the DNA of the original God. By extension, it means you are unstoppable. No wonder Irishman George Barnard Shaw once said man cannot be great unless he is determined to be so.  Greatness is something that is wired inside of you. This is why you should refuse to be limited. There is no man capable of measuring God’s potential hence no man can fully figure you out. You are a sign and a wonder which cannot be stopped or delayed. Impossible is a word, do not allow it to dominate you.

Forgiveness is key to happiness- By Dr Ted Msipa

Maximise your potential

Arise and shine my friend. The potential in you is too much for you to die full. You need to die empty. You need to establish timeless legacies that will speak about you even when you are six feet under. There are books inside of you, write them. Cities are crying from inside you, push them and give birth to megacities and economies. Universities are hidden inside of you. It’s about time you deliver. Stop over-celebrating the accomplishments of yesterday. Dwelling in the past is not the nearest way to getting to the future. It will limit you from realizing your potential. You have the DNA of Christ which turns water into wine. The DNA of a champion who never lost a battle. Rise in favour in this month of favor and walk in dominion. This is your time to demonstrate that you are connected to the source.

Christ remains the ultimate leader, follow him and many will follow you. Success is an attitude, let us meet at the top, where you become the topic. Yesterday ended last night and a new day began. Enter it with all the boldness remembering your source.
