The football family is mourning breaking news circulated that Kaizer Chiefs defender Luke Fleurs passed away after he was gunned down on Wednesday in a botched robbery in Gauteng.

According to a football publication, iDiski Times reports that The 24-year-old joined Chiefs in October after leaving SuperSport and despite not making his debut yet, was still considered one of the brightest defensive prospects in South African football.
